Just a question regarding the '96 auto. When in D (not OD) does the torque converter lock up around 50mph (2100 rpm)? I can feel a very slight rpm decrease like it's going into a teeny bit higher gear. 3.07 rear.
This is almost unnoticeable, but it does it every time. The converter is what I suspect.
This was on the way to my friend's shop to say hello. I was feeling pretty cool until he took me around the block in a TESTAROSA! GAAAWTAMIGHTY!
