Back In The C4 Crowd!

Okay, yes, I have been an exclusively C5 guy since I bought my Z06 in January, 2004. But there are things about my old '91 Coupe I really miss. The orange glow of the dash cluster, the tight, wrap around feeling of the cockpit, and thew ay the low end torque of the L-98 could handle just about any road condition if controlled correctly.

Well, as of this past Friday, I rejoined the C4 crowd with the purchase of a nice little 1990 Convertible- an addition to the stable to supplement the Z06. Another thing I've missed with the Z06 is the ability to take the top off. This little gem of a find is an M-6, almost completely stock, with grey sports seats and interior, and only 53,000 original miles.

I'm baaaack... here's some pics of the new acquisition.

I think it's the car that make the graphics look good. The C-5.... I just might like to own one of those....along with the C4 of course. C4 seats are boss...

Are those decals really the '95 Indy Pace Car graphics? I didn't realize that! To be honest, I've gotten mixed reactions to the decals. People at work, at the grocery store, where ever, seem to either love them or hate them. There's no neutral opinions.

C4 seats are boss...

The sports seats are very nice. I really missed the way the side bolsters in the C4 hold you firmly in the seat during cornering- my Z06 does not have those.

I don't mind at all. Purifoy Corvette let it go for $15,000. I financed it, so now I have two payments. :ugh

But I also have two Vettes! Now... here's hoping we have a dry front range winter!
