Where can I get a new back-up switch at? The wires broke at the switch; it had been held together with goop anyways from a previous owner. It still works, but I could not get the wire terminals open and put the wires back in, so I need a new switch.

I think I see that Dr Rebuild offers them but anywhere else, at a more reasonable price?

Thanks,

:w Lenny,

Try your local Chevrolet Dealer Parts Dept. :eek yep, sometimes they have parts for our old steeds, and sometimes they don't. I've even had a few that are REAL Car people that suggest a place locally that may have the part I'm looking for.

or

You can try Gruhala Enterpises Ph. 636-586-3909 ;) (Gary Gruhala) Gary has a Corvette Salvage yard. He also buys old NOS parts he finds ;)

Lanny81, is yours an automatic? If so , are you talking about the switch at the bottom of the shifter? that also, includes the neutral safety switch? If so, I have one that I will be removing next week when I swap from an automatic to a Muncie. Let me know, if I can help. Jim

Yea, those babes are real expensive. I got one from a salvage yard as part of a "package deal" for my changeover to a 4 speed and was going to go ahead and get a new one till I checked those prices! If mine is no good , at least they are not too hard to replace on the side of the tranny. jim
