they should have it at an auto parts store... get the lowest temp you can (most likely 180 degree)

To change it on an LT1... take off the intake duct by loosening the two clamps that hold it on... then you need a small socket wrench (10mm?) for the two nuts on the T-stat housing... BE CAREFUL not to let too much coolant drip down (none is better, surround with rags if you can... this is to protect the opti spark) from here, just pull up on the stat, and replace with the new one the same way... put everything back together, open up the two bleeder screws until coolant comes out steady... top off the coolant, start it up and test out

Be careful at the auto parts store. I went to Autozone and when he looked it up on the computer it told him a standard thermostat for any small block Chevy... wrong!.
I told him the LT1 stat is specific. He told me to go to the dealer...
They are not an off the shelf part in any parts store like the regular tstat used in all the other small blocks.
I ended up getting my 160 stat when I got my chip.

Your 94's OEM Tstat is 180°, you can put a 160° if you like.
Like vms4evr said just make sure you get one for an LT1.
If you drive the car in winter you may want to stick with the 180° otherwise this would be a good time to put a 160° in and reprogram
the fans to come on earlier.
If your just going to replace with OEM call Jeff Kopp @ Superior Chevy 800-728-8267.
