Batwing Cover Bolts Torque ?

Hey people, for 80-82 anyone know the bolt torque number for the batwing cover bolts???

Sorry the service book has no info on that cover bolt. I would say just hand tight.

Well, whatever it 'should' be...mine is now at 40 lbs torque on my cover.

I found the iron diffs were 50lbs torque, but I didn't want to take it that high being its aluminum threads...and 40lbs may still be too much.

Used a little blue-loctite too.

Hopefully, the diff will be bolted back in the car tomorrow.

Figures...I search all over the net and after the fact, I now locate the torque specs and sequence for the batwing cover.
Oh yea, I over torqued it alright!
