Any one ever have the Edelbrock Dual Quad setup on a big block 454+. Also wondering about 48 IDA Webers. I need to change out the GMPP single plane on the 572, it's too high even with a 4" L-88 style hood!

I guess right now the plan is to use a Edelbrock Performer RPM Air Gap with spacers and upgrade to a 1050 CFM carb!

Wish I could help ya!

Sorry I don't know anyone using those yet, as I think it's a fairly new type. On my hotrod, 545ci Stroker. I'm using a edelbrock street tunnel ram 3500 - 7500 rpm, with dual Edelbrock 800 cfm performer series carb's. So I can say I like the performer carbs, that you are considering.

I used a Edlebrock cross ram and a pair of 600`s in a 17 foot Stevens flatbottom ski boat with a new crate L72 427 and it worked great. However it will never fit in a Vette without serious hood modifications. My only point is that mechanically Quads will work on horsepower BB Chevy`s. Plus they look terrific. :D
