Two ways....
Go to Radio Shack and buy a variable resistor that will cover the range of the 15 possible keys(I don't have the list handy, so you'll need to search).
It will be time consuming as you have to wait 3-5 minutes after trying an incorrect key, before security resets. Once you find the resistance needed by the CCM, you'll need to go to a locksmith to have the correct resistance key cut.

# 2, take it to a dealer and they basically do the same thing, but charge more:rotfl

More like 5-10 minutes,and I use a Interrogator!!:thumb:thumb:thumb
I've found that most Corvettes are somewhere in the middle or little higher/but not limited to!!:thumb:thumb:thumb Have found them as low a 5 and as high as 14!!;shrug

2. 523 ohms 502 - 564 acceptable
3. 681 ohms 650 - 728 acceptable
4. 887 ohms 850 - 942 acceptable
5. 1130 ohms 1085 - 1195 acceptable
6. 1470 ohms 1411 - 1549 acceptable
7. 1870 ohms 1795 - 1965 acceptable
8. 2370 ohms 2275 - 2485 acceptable
9. 3010 ohms 2890 - 3150 acceptable
10. 3740 ohms 3590 - 3910 acceptable
11. 4750 ohms 4560 - 4960 acceptable
12. 6040 ohms 5798 - 6302 acceptable
13. 7500 ohms 7200 - 7820 acceptable
14. 9530 ohms 9149 - 9931 acceptable
15. 11800 ohms 11328 - 12292 acceptable

so i bought this bcm and aparently its good but my local chev.. mechenic with the dealer connection couldnt figure it out....he did say that it only had 52,000 miles on it..!!! im thinking that might be worth the hassell..to roll back my miles...lol..in the mean time "he" solderd back a loose connection and im on my way with a new ( unnecessary)bcm lying in the back..whew...experence aint cheap

I'd think a Chevy dealer would have a interrogator,I know our little dealership does!
I'd need to have it hooked up in a Vehicle to interrogate it!:thumb
