block question

this may sound a little basic, but where is the casting date (not casting number) for a big block located? we can see the info i=on the pad ok, but can't find the actual casting date of the block-

This is small block but I believe BIG block casting number is in the same location.

The casting date will be on the rear right side of the block

For most big-blocks, the casting date is on the passenger side, on the side of the block, just forward of the front end of the starter motor, and it's cast upside-down.
