is this going to tell me any new info that is not already on the original window sticker?

Thanks

mine shows the date built (I don't know for sure if it is the start date or finish date), options installed (which the window stickers shows), dealer who originally handled the car. And a whole mess of other numbers which don't make a lot of sense to me but neat to have.

Thanks, Tom...my car was a one owner and the guy saved everything that came with the car incl the original registration ! Also, I bought from a small Chevy dealer and they were able to tap into the GM system and run the VIN number which brought up the entire list of options, etc. while I was still considering the car. (something to remember if you know a friendly GM salesman). He said they can go 20+ years back with a good VIN. Since I have the original sticker I think I'll pass on the repro build sheet. thanks, again, Ted

Ted,
The build sheet is just a neat thing to have. Good extra for shows, even if its just a Show-N-Go event.
In comparing the build sheet and dealer invoice, I found that the car was delivered to Weber Chevrolet in St. Louis, Missouri and that dealer had the light grey leather seats installed instead of the factory ---ugh, cloth. The VIN matches on both documents. And I learned my Vette was born June 1, 93 at 5:51:39 in Bowling Green. :w
