Burn off relay

85 Corvette with rough idle problems, hard starting.
I was going to change out the burn off relay and when I looked for it (behind the battery)I thought there were supposed to be two. My Vette only has one and there was never one mounted next to it. Is this the right relay? Also when I shut it off the maf does not glow in the burn off mode, any advice?.

The 85's do not have a burn off relay! It's a module behind the pass. side inst panel (about $500) Hope that's not it! (your problem) The wire is only heated for a sec. or two so unless you have it apart and are looking at it as some one else shuts off the car You'll never see it glow!

Can you describe the burn off module? I'm having a hard time identifying/locating it on my '85......

Yes 85 is different. Behind the breadbox on the passenger side, near the ECM.
