Congrats on the new ZR-1. It's an absolutely beatiful car. I saw it on the ZR-1 net registry and it immediately went to the top of my "buy" list for when I sell my '71 LT-1 (is this some sort of sickness?). Sorry to see that it won't be me driving it, but at least it went to a good home!

Rich, when I saw your reply, I thought it was mine (yours was posted right after mine), and I thought somehow somebody was able to edit it!
Just thought it was kinda funny, two guys with LT-1's checking up on the same websites for the same reasons!

Speeding ticket on wheels, 1 week into ownership and I have yet to get stopped. Wish me luck.

As a former ZR-1 owner, a word of warning, the speed comes on in a very sublte manner. He'll be doing 85 so fast and without breathing hard, that it is scary. (Definitely NOT a good thing in a 45 zone.) I never got a ticket in my Zed, but that's probably just luck. I hope your luck;) is at least as good.

As a fellow snow belter, I am cooling my heels at the moment with car in hibernation. With the aftermarket exhaust and the 4.10's in the rear it is very hard not tp be aware of speed. That said, being red and a vette I expect to be given special attention even hidden among the high speed SUVs that ply the Massachusetts Turnpike at extra-legal speeds. I go to court for all such infractions and with the workload of the state police in these parts they have not made an appearance in my particular experience and my only punishment has been less than stern words of caution from the judge and a have a great day. So far so good.

Hey Larry

Could you do me a favor and ask the previous owner of your car to take the For Sale ad off from ZR-1registry.com? Every time I check there to see if there's anything new for sale, I see that ad and it rips my heart out! :L
