C1 Need to cutout the window crank hole on the door panelel

C1 Need to cutout the window crank hole on the door panel

The area where the window crank is located on my 61 has the door panel metal insert over it. I'm looking for suggestions as to the best tool to cut through the metal insert preferably from anyone who has done it before. Need to cut about a 1" hole. The metal seems rather delicate and I don't want to damage it. It is a bit too thick to cut with a sheetrock knife and I'm afraid a hole saw might tear it up. See sample below.

I would call knoch and see what they say.

That sure does have alot more chrome then a 62 does

Looks real exspencive also
