Inside the C2 gauge cluster, and behind the gauges, the paint is a very light green. I assume the light from the bulbs bounces off this paint on the way to lighting the gauges.

If so, is there anything "special" about this paint other than it's colour?

Does it reflect more or less than your average paint?

Does it lend the green "glow" to the gauges at night?

Colour name?

Source?

Thanks.

Not that I can tell.

Not that I can tell, but it does appear to be low gloss.

Yes, I believe it does.

Colour name?

I use a satin interior decorator color called "14049 Heath Green 3". It comes in a "Laura Ashley Home Colour Collection" 12 oz. spray can. This brand is manufactured and distributed by the Valspar Corporation in Wheeling, IL.

Source?

I buy it at Lowe's Hardware.

You perfectionists!

I just clean and wax and put it back. IMO a little silver metal where the green paint chiped off won't hurt.

PS When you finish yours, will you restore mine?
