News from the Mid America catalog just received yesterday...

"Starting Feb. 21st, Mid America Motorworks will be featured on the new Dream Car Garage Series. We're redoing a C4 with some neat products. Check your local Speed TV listings for Dream Car Garage broadcast times"

I'm looking forward to the project and will certainly be tuning in. It appears that Legendary Motorcar does quality work so this should be no exception.

awesome

I'll definately be looking out for it. Any idea what year c4 they're using?

I need Speed TV!! But my cable company doesn't carry it locally. Damnit! :hb

Think DISH Ken, think DISH. You know they aren't barn roof size anymore.;LOL

SpeedTV, ok, Does anyone knows the date and time?

Sound like a winner to watch

If it's going to take several episodes to complete, I'm sure we can get Ken a video at the end. Not Like he's never seen a vette completely stripped bare and rebuilt..;LOL

:mad My cable system doesn't carry Speed chanel either.:(

Alas and alack, my building doesn't allow satellite dishes. :(

You might want to check with the FCC on that, as the CCRs ( I am assuming) is overridden by law. I was in a condo and this very same thing came up as it turns out the board cant ban mini dish installations.

Ken, I think Grapenutz is correct, you really need to check into that. I am almost positive that CC&R's and homeowners associations can't prevent you from installing mini-dishes.

What bass akward cable company you got there anyway? No Speed channel?
He!!, even the flintstones got dish these days

Our "basic" service doesn't include Speed either, if you want it you have to "upgrade" (ie double the price of basic) :eyerole to the Digital service which includes Speed as well as other channels like DIY.

I am very much looking forward to this show, as you don't see many shows higlighting C4 work.

Interetsing....... I just checked their web site, says their project car for 2005 is a 1970 GTO. http://dreamcargarage.com/Mystery_contest/mysterycontest.htm

I saw that too but during the last couple of seasons they work on a few smaller projects as well. This may be similar to the Goodmark Nova they worked on last year while the Cobra was their Feature Restoration Project.

This year it looks like a Mid America Motorworks Vette to compliment the '70 GTO restoration.

The device can not be attached to the bldg. with out permission of the board. I'll bet they supply cable and add it to your assoc. fees.

If you do not get "Speedvision" is you provider's choice. I live in Oceanside and Cox is my provider, In Mira Mesa (San Diego), Time Warner did not provide it. Do satellite customers get it? I might go to satellite by this summer
