How are ya, That latch was one of the little things broke on my 88 when I bought it about 11 years ago. I didn't expect the dealer to have it so I called Contemporary Corvette Salavge in Bristol, Pa.. I have bought a few small parts from them, under hood lite lenses, headlight manual knobs, roof panel latch, etc..Most vendors don't want to bother with used items that cost a couple of bucks, but they sent them out.
