C4 vs. cement divider- I lost

Nah, I was doing 15-20 mph. It was just slick in the far right lane since it wasn't getting used much. the car is gonna be in the shop for 3-4 weeks.

I'm so glad you weren't hurt. Hopefully you can get that ticket
dismissed, and get your Vette back soon.
 
That sucks!! Glad you are ok. I cant believe a cop gave you a ticket in the snow. Thats BS. Go to court, any reasonable judge would let you go. Guy

You actually got a ticket for failure to control???? Are you serious!? So does that mean if you slide on ice and lose control of your vehicle, you could get a ticket!?

That just goes to show you how ****** up our judicial system is sometimes....
 
You guys are right. I'm wrong, It's just funny that I saw it on 3 similiar sites while browsing.. By the 3rd time I'm thinking "ok, what's this guy after, sympathy or donations?". I was wrong. Being a state trooper brings out the negative in me a lot of the times since all I seem to deal with is rif-raf.

I don't presume to know what kind of people you have to deal with on a daily basis, but dude!!!! we all make mistakes, that's why they put them little erasers on the ends of pencils!!

Thought I'd share my experience. I'm not soliciting a thing. Your rif-raf atitude is probably why that gem gave me the ticket. He was yawning constantly and was probably cranky and I got a ticket over it. Clean record, no tickets or accidents, polite to him, made no difference. Crashed your car becuase of the ice, here's your ticket, have a nice day.

Ok... so... have we answered the question posed in that other thread? C4's DO go in snow, but have problems stopping without "intervention". :eyerole Sorry to hear about the accident. It sucks - I did something similar years ago (also at low speed) in my mom's old RWD Datsun wagon. She was not amused.
