I want to buy a 2000 Convertible . There is one for sale for $29000, 13k miles mint condition. How is the conver. in the rain, windy day? Is is noisy like the older convertible with the top up? Please let me know the pros and cons vs. the coupe, thank you rollsman
Go for it! The Vert is great. Had mine for a while now and would never go back. Don't drive in the rain much but on those rare occasions I've never had a real problem. Some noise with the top up but I picked up a Trunk Partition and it helped out a lot.

Good Luck!

I don't know specifically about a 2000, but we have a 2002 convertible and love it! No, it is not noisy like the older ones, and we've no leaking at all...and I do want you to know we've been caught in some torrential rainstorms! By the way, the 2002 handled beautifully in the almost monsoon-like situation!:_rock

We're real convertible diehards...there's nothing like them! Go for it!!

What he says! We have an 02 Convertible and have no problems with it at all. I'm hooked on open sports cars. Got caught in a blinding thunderstorm on our way to CAC's cruise-in this year and didn't get a drop inside. Noise is certainly low and acceptable. Go for it!:upthumbs

If you plan to show your car. The verte displays the interior the best:w

I have enjoyed my 1995 Vert and now the 2004 Vert is just as wonderful...I love Convertibles...nothing like the feel with the top down on a great day:upthumbs

BTW...still have the '95...:D

Hi, I have seen you're reply on the forum and would like to know what and how to make adjustments on my 2002 convt top. Thanks for you're time, George...
