Well it's November up here in New England and the C5 is put away for the winter. Had a great summer did some traveling, went to Carlisle and no speeding tickets. Those pleasant memories, plus my usual medication and support from my attending Physicians (Patrick and Tammy) hopefully will get me through the dark months.

Remo, Remo, Remo....you've put the Vette away already???! Come on! There's still good Fall driving days ahead. No need to sink into that black depression in early November!:L

It was 28 here last night and there's about two leaves left on the trees!

But I'm not giving up yet! Until there's snow on the ground I'm driving in style!

It's still gonna be in the mid-40's and low 50's through the week, so there's still hope! Besides, normally it's warmer than usual this year. There's usually snow on the ground this time of year in the U.P. SO I'm not gonna complain.

Give me another month. Winter lasts through April here, so the longer it waits the less depressed I will be.

Viva Kahlua!

Remo, If you find yourself going through severe withdrawal symptoms about January, grab a flight to FL and I will offer my Vette for a therapy session. Of course, you may relapse on the flight back home, but at least you will gain some satisfaction that there is another world out there that offers fun in the sun year round without the New England potholes. I don't miss the Maine winters, and if I were still there, I would be doing exactly what you are doing, putting up the Vette for hibernation. Stay warm!

Remo, I'm here for you man.

We've had a nice little warm snap (80 today!) but in January and February we're going to have to lean on each other for support. That's when it hits me the hardest.

Thanks Tammy. Hey I noticed your avatar looks a lot like some of my medication. Also, it looks like Dwayn (6 shooter) will be joining my team of attending physicians.

Elaine - I won't take the insurance off of it until the first of December. Actually the depth of my depression peaks right around mid February. That's when all my posts start to have a little harder edge. Its than that Tammy, Patirick and Dwayn begin to monitor my behavior.

what is "put away for the winter?" I do that with my pond pump not the Vette ;LOL

Remo,
We are here to help! :)

We will get you through the long, cold winter, and just think... when you emerge on the other side of Spring, Guy will be taking you to pick up your Lingenfelter upgraded Corvette! :cool

As for listing Dwayne as one of your attending physicians, we may need to get a second opinion on that. He seems to think rice, taken in moderation, is not a part of a healthy diet, and I must disagree with that assessment.

Maybe we won't get any snow this winter? :D

We had some snow in Boise today. It did not "stick", but is supposed to get down to about 20 degrees F tonight. :ugh

It was 63 here today. Still driving. My husband usually wants ours put away for the winter by October 31st. This is our first Z06 so I guess he is indulging me this year. I'm afraid that with all this nice weather so far, we'll probably either have a horrible winter or a long one. Wish we were still living in Florida (Port Richey to be exact), but noooo we had to move back to the cold tundra of the north. Went down the first of October. Got to see a Buccaneers game in 92 degree weather. Ah sure do miss it.

Donna :duh

Hummmmm . . . Florida . . .

If I remember correctly they had some bad weather down that way this year . . . yes . . . it was hurricanes!

WINTER......???? WHAT'S WINTER.....Is that when you don't use the AC?

Do you really put it away ALL winter...I would go bonkers :D ;LOL

I do feel bad for all you right coaster's.:upthumbs

True, but I am usually stuck in front of a computer at work. Then I go home and do it some more :L

You're right, it is not a problem, usually, driving the vette year round down here. But cold and dreary weather is a downer nonetheless.
