Important! C6 Convertible Tops

I celebrated the 4th of the July be having the top on my C6 - 2008 come off as I was going down the interstate. I have to admit I was traveling about 95, when the front of top came loose. I will take it to the dealer on Monday. Those of you with convertible's may want to have your's checked. I will post what the dealer has to say about it next week.:W

95 isn't fast.I read something about the c5's at speeds exceeding 150 equalizing air pressure or you might have a problem.

Thats a super bummer.

Convertible lops

I agree 95 is not fast. I will take it to the dealer tomorrow. I had a 1999 Sliver convert and had no prolems in excess of 120. Thanks for the response.

I haven't had my '08 vert much over 100 since picking it up - haven't noticed any issues with it.

I had my '03 vert to 147 with the top up with no problems. The '03 also went for an hour at an average 110 MPH a couple of years ago on an Open Road Race with no problems.

I figure one day, the '08 will get the Open Road Run change - the top better stay on!
