C6 Parts Sources

With the introduction of the C5 came the addition of some parts used from other GM platforms. For example, the door handles came from the Oldsmobile Aurora.

Do you think the the C6 should be completely original utilizing all unique parts?

Do you mind if some parts such as door handles, mirrors, etc., are used from other GM platforms?

Rob,
I believe that those Aurora door handles were the only parts used in the C5 from other platforms.

Personaly, if it will help to keep the price down then use other platforms as parts sources.

I agree with Tom. If it helps keep the price down to a respectable level than do so. I don't want the C6 to look like all of GM's other cars though. It should be unique in that prespective.

i think the exhaust tips are the same as on the cadillac seville
