Black moon,
I don't have access to a camera to upload my pictures yet, but I'll upload this weekend when I get home. I bought mine from a Corvette shop in Tampa, but here is a link that has pictures and sells the style of the wheels I bought (red vette - not my car though)

I had the stock C-5 wheels with Goodyear OEM's, the front tires were fine, but the rear tires were worn down to the tread wear markings. I think the previous owner enjoyed smoking the tires. The rear didn't have much wet weather traction I assume because of the lack of tread. I bought this car used and when driving it sounded like I was behind the wheel of truck; just a loud whirr/whine from the tires, I couldn't even hear the exhuast note over the tire noise. Handling was rough and I felt every bump and jolt in the road, sometimes it felt like I was riding on concrete wheels like Fred Flinstone.
I was looking for the Z06 style rims, but didn't have a preference for a particular type of tire and was going to get the Goodyear EMT's as well. The dealer recommended the Falcon tires because they provide for better handling and a quieter ride. I love them and the car feels more responsive and sure footed, I no longer feel every little bump, it absorbs them quite well, plus its a lot quieter now the mack truck effect has left the building.
They also recommended to go with the Falcon tires for primarily city driving since they aren't EMT's. They recommended EMT's if you do mostly highway driving (security for flat tires far from home).
I don't know how the EMT's perform when new, but I didn't like the ride of the older tire my vette had, but the dealer did state they start riding rougher as they age.
I chose to run the risk of running the non EMT's since it will be driven mostly around town.
