C6 Wheels on my C5

Ok I'll be the 1000th person to ask this question:

Will 18x8.5 FRT and 19X10 Rear C6 ZO6 after market wheels from Bobs house of wheels with OEM C6 sized tires fit my 1999 C5 without any modifications i.e spacers.

If the offset on those wheels is the same as C6 stock, you will need small hub-centric spacers for the rear.

Just for clarification, the C6 Z06 wheels are 18x9.5 fr and 19x12 rr. The fronts should fit ok but you will probably have to tub your rearend to accomodate the 19x12's.

If all you're looking for is an aftermarket size that will fit C5's, I have 18x10's up front and 19x11.5 rears and they fit ok. Tire sizes are 275/35x18's and 305/30x19's.

I wouldn't go anything bigger in the rear than 315's though.

You're right, I overlooked the "Z06" part.

whatever size you decide to go with on the rims, make sure you choose your tire size accordingly. changing the overall circumference of the wheel/tire will cause you great pain with the traction control and active handling. changing the circumference will throw of your wheel speed sensors so you'll probably need a tune on the computer as well to compensate for them.
