Question: California emissions NNS ??

Does anyone know what the difference is between federal emissions and California emissions is?;help

RPO NN(S)or (5) I've seen both, but what do you get or what don't you get?:confused

I have one '93 with the California emissions, it was bouhgt new in Calif. and one without, can't see any visiual differnce.;shrug

you cant register a non california car in california..
they visually inspect the manufacture sticker before they give you tags...
then you have to have california converter ..which comverts more i guess..it cost 500 bucks to put one on a miata..for real
im pretty sure it's in the converter..but im a rookie here

ill be watching closely because somebody on this site for sure knows...perhaps ...lol:w
 
As I stated no difference in physical appearence. When ordering parts from GM or the parts stores they don't ask if you have Calif. emissions or not.
