Nice Fikse FM-5 Wheels.
...not quite

While Fikse is the company selcted to manufacture the wheels, they are actually based upon the based upon the Profil series, as are the wheels offered for the C5 Power Groups (based upon Callaway's spec's).

The wheels may be changed however, in favor of a larger (diameter) rim to better fill the wheel wells :upthumbs

SWWEEEEEETTTT!!!:D I can't wait to see this car in person again when they bring it to the Chevy/Vette Fest in Chicago!! When we going to get some performance numbers????

...new numbers should be coming this week :upthumbs

Reuben - at about 11 p.m. or so, I passed right by the Hagerstown exit off Rt. 70 - not sure how far out the town was though - If you heard a roar or rumble, that was the 18 wheelers, we were driving a rental Taurus home ;LOL

Hagerstown is about 4 minutes north from that exit and I'm about another 10 minutes north of town. 11 p.m......I know it's sad but I was probally in bed!!!!

I wish they would hurry up and finish the C6 so I could get my car back!!

By the way, I received an invitation today to have my car on display in the "Chip's Choice Reunion" Showcase at the Chevy/Vette Fest in Chicago this coming November.

Mark, How long till she is ready??

Will you be making the Chi-town Vette Fest?? It is all indoors from what I understand :cool

I'm going to call tomorrow to find out. Just about everything had been completed, except for the Megaphones exhaust, before everyone left to go to Illinois.

I'm thinking about the VetteFest, don't know if I want to spend the "shipping" charges for a second trip to Illinois, but..............I just might. I wonder if Lance might have room on his transporter, for a good rate?

Are you thinking about heading out to this one? The show is held at McCormick Place, the big expo center right outside of downtown Chicago.

I went to the spring edition of the Chevy Vette Fest this year and it was pretty nice! It is all indoors at the huge McCormicks Place convention center. There were quite a few cars there and all of them were really nice. I'll be up there for the fall show also.

Mark, can't wait to hear the meg's :upthumbs

Lance's CCC6 was driven out to the Fun-Fest, then washed before going on display :eek I do not think transporters will be involved again for Chi-town...

I am thinking about going - we'll have to see :m

;LOL HAHAHA Yeah Mark, maybe you should. We could do some testing of the creeper in it's stock form (if you haven't modded it yet) then we could compare those times to the winning times we're going to run at Carlisle next year!!

A friend of mine has an "open" trailer that I might be able to use. I'm going to explore that option. If I do go and you decide that you are going also, there is plenty of room in my Jeep.

Mark, Thanks! I will keep your offer in mind :m

Rememeber the stuff I "wrapped" my B2K with on the open trailer? It was a 10" wide roll of static wrap - I got it from U-Haul for about 12 bucks - you could just about wrap an entire car with that stuff, for worry free trailering on an open bed :upthumbs

I was thinking that same exact thought, it sure would look strange, but sure would be functional!
Ha!;LOL My B2K has the Christmas ornament look, red w/ the layers of greenish wrapping - not one stone chip though and it stayed banjo tight the whole trip :eek
Duct, err - Speed tape, should be installed over the seams on a long(er) trip to ensure hold down strength :upthumbs

Chris was thinking about coming until he saw Mark's comment about maybe bringing his creeper! Chris is affraid that he and Joanne will be losing their Creeper Racing Championship before Carlisle.:D
