I'm posting this here because several members frequent this forum and the CF's ZR-1 forum.

This statement posted was really uncalled for:

"This was mostly posted to let it be known that I was a little disgusted that the corvetteactioncenter.com had such a garbage type of slide in their Callaway section - I got the reaction I was expecting, and likely they will be removing this crap very soon. "

And this was my response to the person that posted it:

I'm surprised by your comment in the Callaway thread at the Corvette Forum:

"This was mostly posted to let it be known that I was a little disgusted that the corvetteactioncenter.com had such a garbage type of slide in their Callaway section - I got the reaction I was expecting, and likely they will be removing this crap very soon. "

Making a public statement like that was rude. If you have an issue with information on the Corvette Action Center web site, then bring it to my attention and I'll address it.

First of all, the people that are bickering about Callaways being better than ZR-1s and ZR-1s being better than Callaways - you need to grow up.

It's a Corvette. Enjoy it for what it is and enjoy it for what it was built for. Why do owners have this incessant need to find fault with someone else's choice of Corvette?

Second, if you have an issue with information posted on this web site and you feel the need to "let it be known", then let me know. Last time I checked, there is a "CONTACT US" link on every single page of this site. USE IT.

There is no excuse for making a statement like that one above. That "garbage type of slide" was given to me as part of a presentation that was given years ago. I didn't write it. However, had you taken the time to contact me about it, I would have been more than happy to have dealt with it.

Again, if you have an issue with information posted on this web site, let me know about it and I will research it and address it if necessary.

In this case, the images were removed from this site, and now hopefully, everyone can get back to sharing their Tonka trucks in the sandbox.:eyerole

I agree Rob, it was a bit petty. I know where those slides came from. I told Chris last night, youre the owner of the forum, you say what stays and what goes.

Im glad you chose to speak your mind...other site response is "if you don't like it leave."

I love this place more each day. :CAC

...for the record, I had Zero input on those slides as they were left over from the late 1990's from a now defunct website :CRASH

That thread (at CF.com) is full of misinformation and opinions that hold little to no truth :z

Chris,

If you happen to find any information in the Callaway Model Center or gallery that is incorrect or inaccurate, please let me know so that I can correct the problem before anyone else gets their feathers ruffled.
