Callaway Supernatural owners - Would you be interested in these?

Talking with Ted Rice @ Callaway Cars, I asked about the carbon fiber fuel rail covers that were previously avail. He indicated that with enough interest, there might be another run of them made in Germany (where the Carbon pieces are molded) Price in 1998 was $235 and they are easily installed.

Although I am not certain what the current price would be, I added the 1998 price for reference.

Please respond here if this looks like something you would do :beer

Chris, sounds gooooooood to me. Can these be signed like our current fuel rail covers are?
Mark, That is one of the things I am aiming for - Looks like in addition to the two or three others, we have 3 more w/ just us so far (Shopview indicated interest in these also :) )

Any other SNAT owners interested??

These were VERY rare and installed on few SNATS - the red LM bodied SNAT in TX wears a set :upthumbs

I had a set of carbon fiber covers rub through the altinater wires and set the covers on fire. Carbon fiber conducts electricity!
But that was an after market set.

Big John, Thanks for the heads up :m

If these come through, I will make a point to route the wiring AWAY from the carbon :eek

Thanks again :m

If they are signed, I'm in for sure just tell me when and how much!!

Thanks for making this happen this is great!

Best Regards,
Mark

Mark, I am hoping that this does indeed happen. A few weeks ago, it sounded good as there were already 3 or 4 people interested and now it seems a couple more would be :upthumbs

I know there are a few more SNAT owners here and hopefully they will chime in with interest.

...stay tuned :m

I will certainly purchase a pair if they become available.

Johnny

So it looks like 5 Owners are interested in this :upthumbs When I discussed this idea of remaking these in Old Lyme 2 mos. ago, I was told that a couple other people would be interesed in them... I know that with the Supernatural 425 plates I had done, the "magic number" was 6 Owners who had to be interested and we got those done :upthumbs so keep your fingers crossed as we should have enough interest in these - Thanks & I will keep eveyone posted :m

Sounds great, hopefully it will come together. With the carbon fiber, has it been verified if these can be signed like my (ours) originals?

I got word today, this is a GO :upthumbs Price and final availability are still T.B.D. and I hope to have the details about that very soon.

I emphasized the importance of Reeves' signature on these as most of our originals had that :)

...stay tuned :v

You've got my vote....I've been trying to get a signed set for years

Mark & Mark, talked some more about these - apparently one set has been made to test quality recently, 4 different suppliers of carbon are being looked at for this - 6 sets might be the magic number to do the run - Looks like we should have that criteria met :cool

...stay tuned :m

Chris, I know its late in the campaign, but have you ever considered running for President?
Chris,

Please run in the next election! You have our vote...incredible, I've been asking for these for years. What was teh 425 plate you had made?

In for 2 (maybe 3 1 for backup) sets!

Thanks again,

Mark
