Can anybody out there show me how to pull problem codes from the air con system?

I need to pull the codes from my air con.
I had this info once on my computer, but must have miss placed it.
I've done it once from that info that I had miss placed, so I know that it can be done, but I forgot how.
Anybody out there know's how?
