i'm trying to make it so my headlights stay up all the time. if i manually twist them up they retract when i shut off the lights. how do i unplug the headlight motor so the motor stops completely and the headlights can turn on/off? ;shrug

oh. someone told me i had to do some creative wiring manipulation to make that work. i'm goin' out to the garage to see if thats all it takes. thanks roger

yep, thats all it took, i just turned on the headlights to flip them up and unplugged em... lol, how embarassing. the guy i talked to before was all like -- "well you have to cut one of the wires in the harness- blah blah blah." never trust a dude that rolls in a primered escort that smells like cheese to explain corvette wiring to you.

I read the title of your post, so I came in to respond. Then when I read what you wrote, I realized I was in the wrong forum...actually on the wrong site.
