Need to transport a car from Wash. St. to IN.,can anyone reccommend a car carrier co.?

I checked them out, via the www when I relocated from NJ to SC. I got all sorts of responses but ended up flying back up north and driving back over a week-end. Left the NJ shore Friday evening and was in CHS, SC noon on Saturday.
Some of the outfits I got answers from just drive the car where you want it, (which is unacceptible to me) and they wanted $700 to $800. Others were actual car transporters, but you had to deliver the car to their regional terminal they then put it on the trailer and deliver it to a terminal where you retrieve the vehicle. (These outfits are a little more costly)...
If you can push a three day week-end, I'd fly to Washington, on a friday evening. Get the car and head east first thing Saturday morning. You should be able to be in Indiana by noon on Monday barring accidents or other environmental problems. (That's what I'd do, but I'm one of those who belives a job worth doing is worth doing myself and right the first time). Check with the online ticket purveyors you might beable to get a good deal on tickets.
Lots of Luck!

Intercity Lines was very careful with my ZR-1 when I shipped it from Arkansas to N.H.

I would recomend Thomas Sunday Transportation 1-800-541-6601 or www.thomascsundayinc.com
I have used them a couple of times and they were excellent. Getting someone into the Pacific Northwest this time of year can be difficult due to the weather.
