I think I meant Bose, not Boise on the last post. Guess that is what I get for living in Idaho for a while. Taking the car back to the dealer for some improvements. Window seals were kind of chunked up, couple of spots on the paint, steering wheel is 15 degrees left of center when the wheels are straight. Dealer says he will take care of all the problems.

FYI, the dealer also warns about leaving a wet car cover on the car in direct sunlight. Says it will steam bubbles in the paint if it is hot enough. My car will also be outside for a while, so the dealer provided a "Wolf" brand cover. It fits quite well, but it came with the above warning.

I used to have mine coved w/ the wolf's evolution 4...........in direct sunlite for weeks on end.............NEVER a problem and it's still real red.......Now it has it's own room.....and I just put the cover on in the winter so it doesn't get too chilly!:w :w :w

Wet Cover`

I think he was talking about a wet cover, then the hot sun. This particular car has some small bubbles on the right rear quarter. He seems to think that is how they got there, but in any case he says he will fix them. This car will be in the shade under the cover, so it really shouldn't be a problem either way, but the three sap would be a HUGE problem if it were not covered. Three sap on Tourch Red would not be a good thing I am afraid.....

so was I ...................evolution4 ...............works wet or dry.........just be prepared when you pull the cover to wipe off a lot of white dust...........sap, pollution, other airborne paint killers......will not penetrate a properly cared for ev4 cover as shown in MidAmerica's and Eckler's catalogs...............mine is prox. 9 years old....and still great......although it has been stitched up a couple of times..........:hb

Good Cover!!

That is good to hear. My son's car (which is parked right next to where I will be parking this one) has been really hurt by sap and birds. Eventually the Corvette will be inside, but that will be after I install a gate in my wooden fence....

I think Ecklers or MA has a Neopreme cover (Wetsuit material) its a bit pricey but I think it will solve any concerns with wetness.
