Center Gauge Cluster and Console Trim

Removal was absolutely easy. I was amazed at the technology used back then and how this all was pieced together. But, damn was it difficult re-installing new center gauge cluster trim and console trim. I eventually got it but it was not so much fun...:ugh. I suppose after 30 years of climate and stress the trim formed and worked itself out. It was nice actually doing this at least once. Here's a pic of everything removed:

Years ago, I helped my friend with some interior stuff on his '79 (the '79 that inspired me to get a C3). It was pretty straight forward as you described. The replacements made a major transformation to his Vette.

I agree. Big difference and worth the effort. The pic is not so great and you can tell I have new seat covers as well from Ecklers...
