Hi folks have a question. My check engine light came on so I pulled up some codes. Can anyone tell me what they are and can I fix them myself. 10PCM-P1571. P0160, 40BCM-BO432, 99HVAC-BO361, A6scm-B2187. Any input on how to fix would also be appreciated.

Here are the code descriptions:

P1571 Traction Control Torque Request Circuit
P0160 HO2S Circuit Insufficient Activity Bank 2 Sensor 2
B0432 Rear Defogger Relay Circuit
B0361 Left Actuator Feedback Short to GND
B2187 Seat Rear Down Switch Shorted to Ground

Hold in there someone will chime in with real help, in the meantime check for water where you would not expect to find it and for battery acid leaks.

Hi there,
The 1571 is considered normal, as long as it is always history.
Your O2 sensor code is what set your light.
This sensor is behind the converter assembly, on the right side.
It shows that it is not working correctly.
The sensor is about $60, so you should do fine.

O2 sensor

The O2 sensor on the right side, is it a job I can do myself or is it a dealer fix? If it's a fix I can do myself, how do I go about it?

HI there,
Yes, if you are handy with tools, yes, you can.
You will need a 7/8 or 22mm combination wrench.
A critical sidebar, is that the wiring crosses over the converter assembly, and the connection is on the drivers side, directly above the oil filter.
Take a look at the diagram attached, to see a better view of it.
Also, remember that the pipe should be very warm to the touch, to assist in removal of the sensor.
When you install the new sensor, do NOT put anything on the threads, as the GM sensor comes with a type of antiseize on it.

How did you pull up the codes? There must be a way to do so on the DIC?

DTC code display

step 1-turn on the ignition but not the car, step 2-press reset button to turn off any warnings. step 3- press and hold "options" button and while holding the "options" button, press the "fuel" button four times within 10 seconds. This starts the on-board diagnostics check. It will show each module.
