I believe I'm right in thinking we have to be real careful with manifold dimensions, i.e. any aftermarket manifold has to have the excat same dimensions as a stock manifold due to the position of the "rams horn" and intercoolers.

I'm sure I posted before regarding what would be a suitable replacement manifold and I seem to remember a suggestion of stuff like TPiS ' mini-ram which I've heard good things about (similar to an LT1 intake) but I guess any difference in dimensions to stock would rule it out?

Shopping at Edelbrock!

Any benefit to getting Edelbrock's runners to go with that manifold. What about some of their heads and a cam while you'r at it!?

I wonder if you were to ask Edelbrock for a complete package for a Twin Turbo, if they would come up with a "guaranteed worthwhile horsepower and torque increase" using their products?

Guess it would need a custom chip (fastchips?) too?

Hey Malc a miniram won't work unless you fabricate an extension for the rams horn it sits lower that the stock plenum.

Malc, Ive got a better set of runners to use. Arizona Speed & Marine, they look exactly like stock GM, just a little larger. Kinda hard to tell at first glance.

Josh I would send them to Callaway and have them painted with the Krinkle coat that they used . I know they will do it for you as 90Callaway has had it done to his car.

Ive got a little something planned for my intake. It won't be Callaway Black, but I think you guys will like it when you see it. IF Im able to pull it off...
