I am sure I am not the only one who likes to make videos of my quarter miles passes and auto-cross runs, or even street "driving" (All at legal speeds of course) I wanted something to mount my camcorder in my Corvette that is less expensive, less time consuming and more easily removable than a harness type bar.
So I am making Simple camera mount brackets for C5s and C6s, This bracket will install and remove in less than 5 minutes. You simply remove the 10mm nuts in the rear of you center console (Under 2 plastic trim caps) lift up on the rear of the console and side the bracket in, over the studs and lower console back down and replace the nuts.
The bracket is made form hand formed metal bars and will support min-digital camcorders and cameras weighing up to 1.5 pounds (including tape and battery.)
It worked out so well in my car, that I am thinking of making some more.
What do you think? Anyone interested on a product like this? Under $100.
I appreciate any comments!
Thanks!
