I understand that tire balance involves 3-D, in that, weights might have to be applied towards the inside and/OR the outside. A wheel/tire may require balancing inside or outside at a give "o'clock" position, but not at the other. Applying weight inside when outside weight is called for will yield vibration.
I have a issues with stick-ons, but prefer the balance to the appearance.
Just be glad you don't have the 'offset drilled' mounting holes of the early '84 Z-51 wheels (hecho in Mexico).
