Clutch Rattle

I have an 03 coupe wth 3000 miles on it. When the car is at operating temperature and I let it idle in neutral I hear a distinct rattle from the rear of the car. When I push the clutch in it goes away. Anyone have a similar problem or idea what it is?

Hi there,
This is completely normal.
This is your torque tube spinning. You will note that when you push in the clutch, it will go away.
You can reference the attached diagram for further insight, as the entire thing is spinning, along with the input shaft to the transmission.
