Commemorative Luxo Blue Color

Is the blue on the '04 Lemans Commemorative cars a single year color? Has it been done before? I am having a heck of a time finding the color in a spray can. The local chevy dealer had the small touch-up tubes but no cans. Everywhere I check does not stock the color and it isn't even listed as an option at the auto parts (I assume due to limited production vs payback?).

I wanted to try painting my factory front license plate smoothie filler to match the car (the places online that I found which sell the 'smoothies' also don't seem have the LeMans Blue color as an option). Anyone out there have this paint problem?

04 was the first year for Lemans Blue, but it is being continued in 05 as an extra cost paint option. The color is available from Chevrolet in spray cans. You may want to consider ordering the clear coat to go with it. Your dealer should be able to order it for you. If your dealer can't order it, go to another dealer or try a forum vendor. It will have to be shipped USPS because I believe that you can no longer ship aerosol container via air delilvery. You will likely not find it at the auto parts store.
