Hey guys. I did a cylinder compression test and here are the results:
Cyl1: 120 psi
Cyl2: 115
Cyl3: 115
Cyl4: 117
Cyl5: 115
Cyl6: 114
Cyl7: 114
Cyl8: 117

I did a compression test just to see if there were any outliers. Has anyone else done this and, are my results similiar? Any comments on the results would be appreciated.

I had it done about 9 years ago (before the body off). I know the number all were about the same but don't know how much. I'll look it up on monday if I don't forget. But the compression test stated the engine was in a good condition but that said nothing about the condition the crankshaft bearing were in :(

Greetings Peter

A general rule for compression tests is the lowest compression number within 5% of the highest. With a high of 120 and a low of 114, you're right at the bottom of the range so, you passed your compression test.

Was the engine cold or hot when you did the compression test?
