computer directed carb

On an earlier post Dave ask if I was going to set up my GM block engine using the computer directed carb. Yes I will for now because the cost of dumping the computer would probably mean replacing the distributor and upgrading the carburator, tweeking such as re-curve etc...then I would need to buy 93 octane fuel to get the benefits. Thanks Dave for your question. I'll keep you informed as to the performance of my new long block rated at 330 hp. I'm picking it up tomorrow!

Thanks for the reply.I'm very interested in how it works out. My guess is the motor will run fine with the original carb/dist.....
