has anyone had any luck replacing the rear window when the glue lets go? How much trouble is it to install a new top yourself?

On you glass window? If it is just starting, you can repair with contact cement. I don't know if replacing the top it is a do it your self kind of job.

I think a trim shop can fix that without replacing the top.
