Convertible top

My top keeps popping out of the back clips. I have tried moving the peg up and down and adjusting (bending) the spring. Any ideas. Should I replace the pegs?

I don't know how different a '92 is, but on my '86 there is an adjustment sleeve that you turn to get it to latch/unlatch properly.
