courtesy delay timer

Help finding courtesy delay timer on a 77 and hard to get to (no glove box) and what does it look like? Thanks.

You'll like this- that timer is taped to the wiring harness- on top of the speedometer. Only way to it is drop the steering column, and pull the dash. You might be able to get it by pulling the trim off both A-pillars and taking the dashpad off but the clips that snap the dashpad to the rear of the cage behind the windsheild will be a tough one, I had to open them with a screwdriver and snap the pad back in, then install the reat of the dash panels.

The timer looks like a turn signal flasher- with 3 terminals and a wire running out the bottom. The wire is the ground that runs to the left side of the cage just above the hood release.
