Does the DIC state that the CC is on when you initiate the lever on the signal stalk? Mine is blank. But when you push the button on the end of the signal stalk the DIC will read the set speed and when you lever the CC off, the DIC will read it is disengaged. What does your C5 do? I seem to remember? that the DIC will read the CC is ON.

Not sure what mine does. I set it and it shows the speed at which it is set. But other than that, I'm not sure. As long as it works, I guess I'm happy. :chuckle

The DIC displays no message when you turn the system with the lever. If the system is disabled and you turn it off with the lever it will not display a message on the DIC.

If the system is on and you enable the system with the button, the DIC should say "cruise engaged".

If you turn the system off with the lever, temporarily disable the system with the button, disable by tapping the brakes, or on a manual, disable by tapping the clutch pedal, the DIC should say "cruise disengaged".
