Hey C5 people.....Who here is planning on attending CAC CruiseFest in June? http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com...ion/117534-cruisefest-2010-announcements.html
It will be here before you know it, about 5 and a half months. January has flown by so I have a feeling the next few months will too.

I made my reservations at the Days Inn in Effingham, IL http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com...18675-cruisefest-2010-hotel-announcement.html this evening and started a thread about caravaning from the south and west.

Anybody else planning the trip?

Love to go, but too far for me...planning to attend Vettes On The Rockies in July, that is about the extent of my travel radius: 130 miles each way. When I buy my Z06 then I will probably be more inclined to take the vert much farther on trips.

There's a few guys from COS area planning on making the trip, you could hook up with them. It's a great time.

One of the guys from COS is going to be driving his 89 vert, so surely your car can keep up with that! And Scott doesn't drive that fast.

I'm not sure if I should tempt the Mechanical Gods with another cross-country road trip in this 'ol beater!

It really depends on how this work situation plays out over the next few weeks. I'm not sure if I can swing it in addition to the trip to TX over Memorial Day weekend.

I'm still a go on this one and plan to travel with the caravan from this area if possible. Preliminary schedule and suggested route looks good for going out so far. I need to get busy now and get hotel room. Barrett.. Patrick anyone.. where are you planning to stay in Columbia MO? Come to think of it, I think I better start monitoring the CruiseFest Caravan thread. This one is just for General Discussion.

I have stayed at the La Quinta in Columbia Mo when I head east. If my brother is able to come with us, I will probably stay with him in Overland Park Ks the first night, then join the caravan. Tom usually stays with his family in KC and then joins the caravan near Columbia. For CF 08 I left early and went to the NCM on the way to Cleveland, joined LT4Man and then went to Cleveland. I won't know where I will be staying until I know if my brother is attending. He attended the Non CF at the NCM and Tale of the Dragon last year and wants to go on this one too. Sorry I can't give you a definite answer.
