custom chip necessary?

I am soon getting Hooker long tube headers & their front Y-pipe.
I already have a Magnaflow cat-back installed. Main cat is stock.
Will I need to have a chip burned to accomodate the effect of this exhaust mod, or is the stock programming fine? BTW, I have a lower temp fan switch and 160 t-stat already installed as well.

Also.......along with the headers, etc, would gutting the main cat & installing an internal pipe cause any unwanted issues?

Stock will work fine until you get more mods done

Too take advantage of your mod's. I think a good chip would be invaluable.
