Dana 44 Drain Plug

Thanks a bunch Ken. I drilled the hole and and tapped it while it was draining. A bit messy but sure tapped nicely that way . Pumped some ATF through it and left it set. I will put the plug in and refill with Royal Purple tomorrow. Then for the trans. Can't find the right oil around here.

Royal Purple also have ATF. (they have them all)

My 87 D36 was drilled nearly 10 years ago. We did it at my buddies shop and used an old outboard gearcase magnetic drain plug about 3/8". The hole is in the bottom about where the one in the picture is. It's made over 100K miles since then, no leaks or other problems.
