hi, the strip of buttons that run down along the ride side of the instrument panel do not illuminate properly. one minute they'll all be lit up, next minute, just the bottom 2..its been just the bottom 2 lit up now for a while. i checked all the fuses and they seem ok. anything else i can look into? its not a big deal but enough to annoy me..i remember reading a similiar post a long time ago, but cant find it.. thanks in advance

There are 4 small lights that illuminate that panel. My guess is they just need to be reseated into the circuit board or the plug that powers that panel is loose. Its not hard to fix but you have to pull the instrument cluster(IC) to do it. If you've ever thought about doing LEDs in the interior now is the time.

This web site is what I used when I did mine. I think you can buy the LEDs all made up with the resistors and sockets now so its much easier. Either way you go that web site will show you what tools you need and the steps to getting the IC out.

wow, that looks like a ton of work..but damn that looks so cool when its done!! no comparison vs the stock lighting.. thanks for the link...now decisions decisions
