dash lights

On My 84 the lights for the driver info center including the speedo and tach go out, when you tap on the face of them they will work when they want. Also the radio is not holding its memory. Is there a main ground to look for or is there bulbs to be replaced? Thx!

It could be that the PCB (printed circuit board) connections are getting intermittent, which is why you can tap it to make them respond.
Im not sure about the radio situation, it might be alot of things: battery, ground integrity, radio hardware. Im sure its been written up somewhere on this forum already.
