Anyone had clearance problems while trying to install dash speakers (passenger side - at the moment) on their late model C3 (82). There does not seem to be enough room for the speaker to drop all the way in, as the magnet is obstructed by the underside of the dash pad (that also is the mounting point for the glove box latch). The previous owner "dropped" an upgraded speaker in place, but it will not go in far enough to allow the cover to be popped into it's mounting tabs. I have also, got a standard aftermarket replacement unit, but even though it is not as bulky as the current unit, it still will not clear the dash.
