decoding the date of manufacture

Hi all
Ive got an 86 C4 and I want to put it on club rego
here in Queensland Australia I can have club rego
if the car is 30 years old or more
also the cost club rego $188 for 12 months compared
to normal everyday rego of $1022 for 12 months
now I cant find a compliance plate and the vin
under the wind screen has a G in the middle
which decodes to 1986 but for the club rego scheme
I have to prove to the govt that my baby is at least 30
they are pretty strict down to the month
I have normal rego till August this year
any ideas out there about decoding the month

I got the build info from the GM website all I needed was the Vin they had a fee can't remember how much but not expensive

there are build sheets in the car. usually one on the gas tank for one. Often in the back side of the seat cushion.
